This is in response to the poster before me (your post copied and pasted below. First of all I would like to say "thank you" for your service. I have never felt that we do not need a military, as far as I am concerned that is just ridiculous. Sometimes I just have a problem with the way the suits decide to go to war. Ultimately my problem is with "diehards" from either side, in which it matters not what you say, its always party lines. I have protested numerous times, if anything to see you all come back home and be with your families. I do disagree with people that do not share my opinion, and I think it is important to ask questions, but I believe strongly in rational debate, and I understand fully that in the end, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I also couldnt agree more that differences is what makes us stronger, that is why it is essential to have bi-partisanship and find a middle ground, it is what gets things done in the long run. It is good to hear from someone like yourself, thank you for your service, and I wish to see you and all my brothers come safely home.

I fought for two combat tours in the military and I will say most of the stuff posted by retired military is garbage and does not reflect the view of most military people. He has the right to his opinion and yes I would defend that right so does this this sam guy as well as stoner chick. I see a lot of attacking on this board for an opinion. Guess what thats a good thing that means we are still a democracy and you are allowed to express your opinion. if I disagree I might say something back or just ignore you. but isnt that what millions of Americans died for the right to free speech Im just putting this out there for the people that think there view is the only right one. think about this I think our country can only work if there is different views, it makes us stronger. I say yay for argument let find the middle ground !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
