You seem to forget that the "hu" in Human means humane and humanness means one who lives by virtue: aka love, compassion, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, honesty, courage, righteousness, openness, trust, etc. You do not see a society with everyone embodying these traits with all that you see so when you say humans are worthless youre not even making any sense so humans are quiet valuable. As Chogyam Trumpa Rinpoche (founder of shambhala buddhism) teaches, if you are not human (one who embodies virtue always) you are an animal. So in other words animals are worthless.
