Looking for some feedback

I will try to keep this as brief (yet informative) as possible.

I have been with "Sam" for over a year. The relationship is more than I could hope for however..."Sams" ex is still quite involved in his life. They were together for many years ( no children ) and have been apart for roughly 2 years. I realize that he was with her for many, many years but am often put in odd positions when it comes to "Diane", her parents and siblings. I have no problem with his ex-in laws coming over for dinner or even "Dianes" brother who is still very close with "Sam." "Sam" is an incredible man and I understand why his exs family still wants to have him in their lives. Should it bother me that "Diane" is still calling him when she knows we are together and living together Where is the line drawn I have complete trust in him and know that he is happy where hes at but frankly, I dont know any man who would be ok with my ex husbands family continuing to be a huge part of my life-heck, I wouldnt even ask that of him. Thanks for the input~
