Im American born, a US citizen, from Idaho. My name is Tim, not Timoteo. When I go to Mexico, and they call me Timoteo, it doesnt bother me.
When Im in Mexico and introduce myself, I say my name is Timoteo, since thats the translation for the country Im in.
No big deal.

Wouldnt it be a laugh when I go to Mexico to say "No, Im TIM, not TEE MO TAY O. And its not TEEM. Its TIM! Ih, Ih, Ih, TIM. What is it with you Mexican racists that cant pronounce my name".
