A Modern move: Last seasons polo collar makes way for a streamlined neckline. Blue rubber piping printed with Chelsea FC Extends from the centre of the neckline to mid-chest.

Body Armour: The different textured panels add 3D definition to the shirt, making it look like the body armour for the blue and White Army.

Official supplier:
Adidas has been Chelseas official sportswear. Product and kit supplier since 2006. The logo is embroidered on the right breast. This years jersey has a tighter, more tailored fit and uses a waffled fabric for improved breath ability and moisture management

Three Stripes: The trademark adidas three stripes feature on the shoulders and sleeves. New for this year is the interrupted pattern stopping at the edge of the shoulder and restarting at the ends of the sleeves.

Badge:
In 2005 after 19 years with a modern badge design, Chelsea celebrated the clubs centenary by making a proud return to their 1950s crest design  with a few updates. The English roses, heraldic lion and the Abbot of Westminsters staff showcase the clubs heritage, while the two footballs represent football.
