One and a half miles up a dirt road leads to your very own home on a private bluff. This Spectacular and Secluded 11-acre setting is close to major ski areas, dining, shopping, antiquing, art galleries, historical sites and charming villages. In addition, you can sled and snowshoe throughout the property.
Beautifully furnished home (3,000 sq feet) at the Berkshire foothills with 3 bedrooms ,3 full tiled baths, large great room with stone Fireplace, family room with wood-burning stove, library (with queen-size convertible couch), a three-season sun room, and finally a kitchen equipped for the “foodiein you. All rooms face on to spectacular views.
One bedroom includes a wood-burning stove and an accompanying sitting room. All 3 beds have cozy down comforters and top line mattresses.
Five miles to Taconic Pkwy, 2.5 miles to Mass Tpk, 1/2 hour to Amtrak to NYC, 40 min to Albany Airport. Two and a half hours from mid-town N.Y.C. and two hours from Boston
All bedrooms are equipped with extra thick mattresses and luxury down comforters. The two upstairs bedrooms have ceiling skylites that open for extra ventilation. Both bedrooms have full bathrooms en suite. The lower level bedroom has a wood-burning stove for extra atmosphere as well as an adjacent sitting room or office that provides room for extra cots. The main floor has a library with a leather couch that converts into a queen-size bed. That room opens onto the three-season sunroom as well as the rear deck. The three main bedrooms all have closets. Finally, a small crib is available.
All baths are equipped with cherry wood vanities, wall tiles and Corian counters and sinks.
There is a mudroom entry way that is for hanging and storing coats and boots. The mudroom also has a washer and a dryer. There is an additional washer and dryer on the lower level for large items.
The kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance, utensil and pot you will ever need for your favorite Saveur recipe! There is a Dacor electric oven and a 4-burner, high output Electrolux gas range plus a Bosch dishwasher. The counter tops are Corian for easy clean up and a butcher block section, as well. In addition to the 4-slice toaster there is a good size toaster-oven.
There is a large Weber gas grill with a side gas burner outdoors.
There is a two-car garage with remote controlled doors as well as plenty of outdoor parking
